HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

It is my first mother's day as a mom, and I could not be more excited! Of all the things I have done or been: sister, daughter, nurse, friend, neighbor, aquaintance, class president.... I could not be more proud of being this: A MOM! (and I have only just begun!)

As a mother you feel more emotions then ever felt before.

You pray more prayers then ever before.

And nothing can describe the intense deep love for your child.

It's hardwork, it's scary, it's wonderful, it's amazing...

I thank God every day for making me a mom. I feel so blessed to hold my beautiful son. He is such a gift.

Since becoming a mom I have found that I have a greater desire to love and protect every child I see. It has given me a new perspective on the deepness of God's love for us. "How Great is our God..."

And lastly:

Everything I have learned about how to be a mom, I learned from the greatest teacher: my mommy!

Thanks mom for showing me how to care, love, and teach my child by living such a great example. I am so lucky to have loving parents like you and dad, who have made me the mother I am and hopefully continue to be.
