Mother's day started out with breakfast in bed! Then Hayden showed off some new talents by showing excellent eye-hand-coordination by reaching for toys!! He's getting soo big!
I was surprised with a beautiful wicker rocking chair for the front porch. For dinner we grilled out at Mark's parents house. And marveled at the fact that all 5 kids were in the house at the same time...a very rare occurence.
I also got a hanging flower basket from Mark's parents and a sweet book about mother's from my mom. And the craziest thing is the card in the mail from Brady. haha!
I am so excited to rock my sweet baby in the beautiful sunshine...while watching my other "son" destroy the yard. Speaking of...day two of the hanging basket went like this: 30mph wind knock off of shepherds hook... Brady finds.... manages to remove plant from basket.....eat basket hook off of basket...mommy finds basket across street while getting the mail...wonders who's basket that is....returns to own yard.... notices beautiful plant on ground....realizes basket is hers.... sees dog eating basket hook.... #$%@ dog!... tries to save plant!
We are currently trying to landscape and revive the urine soaked dead grass. Hopefully by next mother's day I will have some nice flowers to look at while rocking!
